Is there any reason I should not be the one killing every night(as long as I'm alive)? I have no power other than killing.

It's probably wise (I think) as your the one that's most expendable with no other powers. Sorry.

Keep an eye on Chronos, Dirx.

So, why does only "one" of us do the kill every night?
Does it indicate it somehow to the townies?

I agree. Chronos is trouble.

Collectively, we get one kill per night (from what I can tell so far). Of us, one person will PM Ped with who (or if) we want to kill. The reason for it only being one person is that they most liekly have someone that can watch or track other people and see what they do. If they catch someone putting in a NK, they can assume (most likely, but there are other tricks) that person is scum. So we have to chose one person to put in the kill. Does that sort of make sense?

Yes, but what do you mean by NK?

NK = Night Kill

Only formerly Pure players can pray.
And 'pure' means 'not having the seed of sin'.

So if scum get's the seed of sin, we count towards a sinner win, but that's all, correct, nothing else changes?
Oh, and that, I think, would imply that mahaloth can go pray back to not having the seed of sin, but myself and Dirx cannot.

Ahhh, I already of the seed of sin, and I assume Dirx does as well. I think that means that (depending on what else is going on) mahaloth should always pray if he get's the seed.

Ped has let me know that I'm sinful. So, since I and I'm guessing Joey is as well, Mahaloth, it may behoove all of us to pray if you become infected. Provided we don't need you performing the NK, for whatever reason.

Wait, I keep forgetting, Ed is in this game. Put him on the "List of players to kill off because they're giant thorns in our side." But we'll let him survive the first night or two, if he's not too pro-town by then. Just to be nice. The new players can learn from him, anyway.

Right.
If I get infected with the Seed of Sin, I can't do the kill...so I should avoid being last to vote for an execution. I'm thinking most of the game's Day Deaths will be ostracization early on, anyway.

We should all try to avoid that, I mean, it won't matte for Dirx and I, but just to be pro-town it's something to avoid.
Also, regarding Special Ed, in Kid's game, he practically lynched himself, maybe he'll do it again.

Any thoughts on how to choose our kills? I'm cool with just discussing it Nightly and figuring it out.
By the way, Ped gave us permission in a PM to go ahead and make separate Night and Day threads for each Night and Day. We can do that if we want.
OK, so here are a few things about some of the people. If any of are Blackhearts and show up later, just realize I'm trying to help out our team. No offense if any of this seems negative. It's not intended to be.:
1. Don't directly engage or challenge Meeko, if at all possible. Based on our Haggle game, he has the kind of personality that will push back hard and construct a reason to kill you. Try to help Meeko out a bit and he should be OK. Most likely, he will get himself killed by the town.
2. Telcontar is very dangerous. He is a big time strategist and was right about a lot of his scum predictions in the Werewolf game. It might be a good idea to kill him as early at Night One.
3. AllWalker flies under the radar. He usually does not contribute huge amounts of strategy. Not a priority to kill.
4. Freudian Slit and Justin Credible were scum in the last game, I believe. Both played very calm games and drew little attention. Again, I would not place a huge priority on killing either of them right away unless something changes.
5. Chronos seems dangerous early on. Don't know him at all.

For future reference, AngelOfTheNorth edited her post 1.123. Only did it to change the color, but still, town seems pretty adamant that any editing whatsoever is a huge scum tell.

Look at Chronos' post #131.
He's really analyzing the game. Is there any way we can twist what he is saying to make him seem pro-Sinners? One, it sounds like he is essentially suggesting that the town just aim for a Sinner-win, since that works out oddwise. Maybe we can twist this so he looks super "Sin Friendly" and push for his ostracization/execution.
He's pretty sharp.

He's analyzing, but between him and Thing Fish, I got some ideas. First off, I'm thinking maybe we should NK whomever puts in the last vote, that will probably make everyone scared to vote. What are the implications of people that are scared to vote? OTOH, that would mean that none of us can ever have the last vote, which would mean that to be safe we would have to lead the votes which I suppose could make people look at us much closer. So I guess I'm not sure about that.
Second, depending on what happens with night powers of other people (can anyone else NK?), it might make sense for us to protect people that we think may be town from getting the seed of sin. If they go to the sinners it's bad for us, also, if anyone is watching it'll look good if you get 'caught' protecting town.

Aaaaand we have our first vote.
Will everyone else join in, ignore it all together or help Ed self destruct?

Okay, so I have NO IDEA what the sinners are told, but Telcontar seems to be under the impression that the sinners will also need to infect the Blackhearts. Town having mis-information is a good thing. Depending on how 'praying' plays out in the public forum (And also how being infected shows up in the color), Any of us should probably Pray if we get the seed of sin in us. Let the sinners waste their time re-infecting Dirx. Of course, Ped probably states who's praying, and probably won't allow a previously non pure person to officially pray.

Here's another question, what's to stop all the pure people from defecting to sinful, and winning with them. It seems like that would be pretty easy.

I may have nudged the trend toward lynching people who have been less active. Chronos even seems to agree, but wants to not exclude those who do fluff posts.
Joey, I think you and I are more or less safe. We have posted a fair amount in the thread, but have not been "fluffy".
Dirx, you may want to make some substantial contributions to the main game thread in order to avoid being killed early on.

Yeah, but I got worried my posts were too fluffy (AFAIC game mechanics questions are basically fluff). But I just caught a lucky break in post 1.158 Spurious George says "I'm nothing if not a fan of bandwagons, and I don't want to be the Sinner who casts the last stone, so..." I have to assume it was poorly worded, but I'm calling it a legitimate slip, he called himself a sinner. Like I said, I think I know what he meant, but if there was ever a sentence to a scum/sin spin on, this was it. And if he does turn out to be a sinner, I'll be a hero for catching it, if he's not, it's so early in the game, people won't pay too much attention to it until waaay later, but I'm pretty sure it would be overlooked as I don't think anyone could blame me for it.

Good catch, Joey.
I'm trying to take a step back right now. I've posted almost too much tonight.
I think if we work the angle right, SpuriousGeorge can die in Day One.
