For mario to examine.
Mod Notes: Mario will be able to see dead roles' mod notes.
Also, the mod conversations are actually between me and my inner voice personified.

BAG #1:
Lucas (Cop)
You were pretty afraid at first, because you haven't really been into the whole fighting scene. There were lots of people to be afraid of, and you aren't the strongest person out there. Actually, to tell the truth, you were relieved when that guy died. No longer was the fighting a huge concern--now it was a game of information and intruige, something you could relate to! And the investigative powers you've been learning should be directly applicable.
1. Each night you may investigate someone. You will get name, alignment, and a vague estimation of their powers.
Mod Notes: Is insane. Will return the opposite alignment, and get a random mane and power description. Is this role a little cruel? I mean, it's balanced, compared to the other roles, but even so...
I think that he'll figure it out before it gets out of hand. If anything, I'm worried about having too many investigators.
Yeah, we do have X investigators, plus sorta XXXX. This is the outlier. Scrapped.

BAG #2
Kirby (mimic)
...
1. Each night, if you do not have a power, you may suck someone up and gain their power. If you do not want it, you may then taunt that person (in thread) and lose it. 2. Each night, if you have someone else's power, you may use it. If you do, you lose it.
ModNotes: A bit obvious...but com'on, it's kirby. What else would I do?
A bit random...and what happens with XXXX? And XXXX? This has the power to be deadly confusing.
Too random--replaced with XXXX, a (slightly) more relaible role.

BAG #3
Link (Doctor)
You quickly became convinced under XXXX's and XXXX's preaching. Clearly HAL and his cronies were too dangerous to continue their little game. You didn't agree with killing, or even direct evangilism--you just wanted to slowly spread the word, one person at a time. However, things got kick-started. Now your only goal is to protect the other SCUM. You still don't want to attack though. Fortunatly, your shield is still good and sturdy. Each day, you may entrust it to someone, and it should protect from all but the most tenacious assults, and each dusk, you will take it back. They won't know about it due to the rap on the head you'll give them on the way out. You can keep it yourself, of course.
1. You are a SCUM. The other SCUM are XXXX and meet at XXXX. 2. Each night, you may protect anyone, including yourself. That person will not die due to any attacks. 3. You may not do the nightkill unless the trophy-making equipment is still available, in which case, that's what you use.
ModNotes: Do the scum really need a doctor? I mean, it fits and all, but there really aren't that many vigs.
Good point. Scrapped.
Okay, you added some now. Should you put it back in?
Nah, I'm happy with the current SCUM group.

BAG #4
ROB (Crazy White Mage)
You are a good doctor, an M.D., specailizing in video game characters, so it's good common sense that you're protecting people. You're such an experienced doctor that it should keep through the next day. But...you don't have the best dexterity. Occasionally, you'll accidentally mess up. And by mess up, I mean kill them.
1. Each night, you may choose someone to protect. You have a 50% chance of keeping them alive for two days, but a 50% chance of killing them.
ModNotes: This is a real role?
Sorta. The original was weaksause.
I see. Well, we already have X XXXX, and this role is still sucky.
You think?
Yeah. Scrap this one.
Ok. Scrapped.

BAG #5
Marth (Vig/Doctor)
You have arrived! Again. Though combat here is different than in your homeland, you think you've gotten the hang of it. Still, for any non-arena actions, it's still confusing. Your Down B should guard people, and you can always kill if necessary.
1. Here: (note: grid system is not finished yet) is the grid map of each player's room. Each night, you may move 1+X spaces, where X is the night number. 2. If your path takes you to someone elses room, you may protect or kill that person. 3. If you end in someone's room, they'll know you were there.
ModNotes: ...the hell??
Just trying to be original.
Okay, this grid thing is way too confusing. Scrapped before I tear my hair out.

BAG #6
Bowser (Mason/Recruiting Mason/Elite Bodyguard)
XXXX
1. You are a mason. The other masons are XXXX and meet at XXXX. 2. XXXX 3. Every night you may watch over another player. If this person is attacked, you will be able to take down their killer instead. Of course, this will kill you as well. 4. If you watch over a SCUM, they will notice and kill you. 5. When you die, you may pass your shell down to another person. The shell will allow that person into the Baddies.
ModNotes: Weird. Seems a bit weak. I'm not sure about the martyr aspect, as well.
Okay, beefed him up a bit. Also took out the XXXX, as it was proving a bit difficult to balance.
Town is too powerful at the moment, either take out town roles or weaken them.
I didn't expect Bowser to be so powerful! I'll just remove him. Oh, and that means we can add XXXX back in. Cool.

BAG #7
Wario (Jester)
You're only here because there was treasure. It's gone now, gone to your 'special' bank account, and now it's time to get the hell out of dodge. You figure the scum are your best chance of doing that. To arrange this, you've hidden a smash ball under the attack post. When the others attack, you turn into Wario-Man, make them recoil with garlic, and make off on your motorcycle.
Also, you've found something. One of the new smashers left a staff lying around, and it looks valuble. You can't use it, obviously, but you're sure you can find someone who can.
1. You are a SCUM. The other scum are XXXX and meet at XXXX. 2. You win with SCUM only if you are lynched. If you are NKed or survive, you will autolose. 3. When you make your escape, the garlic will surely keep everyone involved aggrivated and unstable. That night, all actions are mandatory 4. You have a staff in your possession. Perhaps finding its owner will be of some help...?
ModNotes: Nice. Cool implementation. Too bad we have to scrap it for XXXX to work.
Yeah, it's a shame.

BAG #8
Pikachu (Special Schizo)
Lightning can do many things. It can short out the most sophisticated systems or knock out tank-people. It can give wildly inaccurate powers. It can kill people. You like lightning. You like it so much that it's inside of you, always.
1. Every night, you must target someone to shoot with your bolt of lightning. This is involuntary. 2. That lightning bolt has: -a 10% chance of removing all powers (permanently) -a 15% chance of removing powers (for the night) -a 15% chance of enchancing powers -a 20% chance of moving the target of those powers to the target of your choice -a 30% chance of killing the target.
ModNotes: THat seems weak.
It's supposed to be. IT's the weakest role on purpose.
Oh.
I'm not sure about XXXX's role. We've already got X XXXXs, and that could stall excessivly, especially since XXXX no longer runs out.
There's not much else he can get, unless we give him the Schizo.
ALright, scrap this guy, give that role to him, and pick a role from the XXXX.
Fine. Scrapped.

BAG #9:
Samus (Vig/Hider/Watcher)
Like every time, you lost your armor. Unlike before, however, you found it before this whole thing started. So that's good. You're a little wary about going and killing right away, but your ice beam is fully functional and you figure they can sit and stew while you decide their alignment. However, with the bulky power armor, you won't be able to hide properly (as your morph ball spontaneously spouts bombs at the moment). So if you need to hide, you can strip your armor. But be careful! It's a one way trip.
1. While your armor is on, you may attack someone each night. This attack will freeze them. 2. Also, each night, you may take down someone frozen the previous day. This will not keep you from freezing someone else the same night. 3. At any time, you may take off your armor, by posting STRIP in bold and orange. Note that this is a one way transformation. 4. Once you've removed your armor, you may hide in someone else's room each night. Anything that happens to them happens to you (meaning that you will hear if they leave, if anyone does something to them, etc), but you won't be hit by anything.
ModNotes: Scrapped because role is boring and XXXX's role is way cooler.

BAG #10
Master Hand (roleblocker/votetaker/deathstopper)
You had a seriously good business for quite a while. So many people gathered to watch your games, paid to participate. You made so much money... But about a month into the most recent installment, things changed. 'Accidents' would happen in the matches, and secret lynch mobs would gather at night. It's only been four days, and already there are only 27 people left! If the numbers dwindle too much, nobody's going to watch. You, however, know how to keep them from killing each other, if only the would calm the hell down.
1. Master Hand wins alone if a night/day cycle passes without anyone dying. 2. Master Hand can organize a feature match. All participants (two to four) will be unable to vote the next day due to exhaustion. 3. Master Hand can also arrange for one person to be in an endurance match. This person will not have the opportunity to perform a night action. 4. Note that you may do only action 2 or action 3 each day
NOTES: It is really, really important to figure out just how powerful this role is, since if he wins, neither town nor scum win.
Scrapped. It'd just too swingy. I don't know if I could ever balance this role, as cool as it is. Still, this messes up interactions with XXXX.

On an unrelated note, it's kinda cool how many different interpretations of the coroner role there are. I mean, we've had the Conspiracy Coroner, this Coroner, the Conspiracy Detective (with the same ability as the coroners on mafiascumwiki), the Marvel Coroner... It's weird how different mods can start at the same place and go in entirely different directions.
