It was peeker who did the breadcrumb, not paul.
And toDay has convinced me that Chronos is the politician. The time difference between Chronos' last post about Bear and paul getting his orders clinches it for me.

Meeko just voted for me for no reason.
Yeesh....he'll go crazy celebrating if he kills me, but it will still be a total shot in the dark.

I really really want to reply to Meeko, he came right out and said he voted for Mahaloth even though "The real poser here, is that I am not fully convinced that Mahaloth is scum. " (he even bolded and underlined that statement). But anyways, I stopped responding too him. It's better to let town waste THEIR time arguing with him. Unfortunately I don't have time to read through the last several pages of toDay (though I may be on WiFi on vacation, I'm not sure) and I want to get my vote in soon. Could one of you help me put together a vote. I'm thinking either something along the lines of "Vote Peeker, for the same reasons as everyone else"* OR Putting in a vote for Meeko based on the statement "The real poser here, is that I am not fully convinced that Mahaloth is scum. " Now, normally I would just vote Meeko for that alone, but he's got that pesky Mason thing going for him so it would be anti-town to do that. What about voting for him, but adding in that, even though he is confirmed town, he is playing a VERY anti-town game, and I think it's safer to have him out of the game....How likely is that to get votes put on me? *someone else said almost exactly that, so I figure if I get called on it, I can mention that. Found it...Thing Fish boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=11159008&postcount=1597

Please can I vote Meeko, he voted for Mahaloth, then said he doesn't think Mahaloth is scum, then he said he doesn't want anyone else to vote for him. C'mon, it doesn't get much more Anti-town then that. Maybe I could vote of him, and suggest the possibility that he's a vigilante or somehow has his own wincon.

Did PAUL ever say anything about being ensinned? I just noticed that when Bill finally showed up (not realizing he had been subbed out) he mentioned being ensinned, but did Paul ever mention that?
That being said, I want to put my vote on Bill, but I worry that if I put it on Bill for being ensinned (I think that's a safe vote), others might move over. The sames goes for saying something along the lines of "Alright, I'm about to leave town to go to Michigan and I need to get my vote in since I may or may not have WiFi access so...I'm voting for Peeker for the same reasons as everyone else today, but toMorrow we need to discuss lynching Bill/Paul for being ensinned...VOTE PEEKER" I'm hoping that saying I'm doing it for the same reason is a half good enough reason and then mentioning the Bill being ensinned thing will direct their attention away from me. (post 1688) BTW that means there is still a sinner out there.

1. Allwalker (PURE) 3. BillMC (claims to be ensinned) 5. Chronos (PURE) 6. Peekercpa (PURE) 7. Inner Stickler 10. Bear_Nenno 12. Meeko (MASON) 13. Nanook 18. Thing Fish
IS, Bear, Nanook, or Thing Fish....one of these four is an original sinner...Any thoughts Another thing. If we get to the point where there is one person left investigated OR we get a sinner result, we should consider one of us claiming detective. Town will be somewhat skeptical, they will even consider that we may be a scum detective, but if the person get's lynched and confirms what we said we'll be safe(r). There are some potential problems I can think of with this plan, but it's a thought. OTOH, it may just be best, if we get a sinner result, to NOT SO GENTLY guide the vote that way.

I have no idea what the "down river area" is. I'll be mostly in Munising and a little in Marquette.

Paul did mention being ensinned.
And IS also claims to have been ensinned.

Would Paul be a safe bet for a vote? Can I vote him on the basis that he is ensinned, hasn't said anything about praying and as we get closer to the end of the game we can't afford to have sinners running around since with each day we lose 2 (most likely) pure town and we have to be careful that we don't wind up with the sinners gaining numbers.

Paul did mention being ensinned. And IS also claims to have been ensinned. That would imply that Bear, Nanook or TF is ensinning. Assuming Peeker get's lynched, we need to NK one of them. Or, wait, we need to NK someone else and aim for a lynch on one of them. I'll investigate tonight, I should have a 1/3 chance of finding the ensinner. If I find him, we can start a bandwagon against him, if not, we try to get one of the other two lynched. (Not saying we have to do it this way, just a thought)

Nanook is dead...
It's Bear or it's TF. You have a 50% chance of hitting a Sinner toNight, joey.

Let's not rule out the possibility of an Alpha Sinner either. Possibly the Alpha sinner is doing the ensinning. I wouldn't put my money on it, but there is a chance.

Oh shoot, of course. He means a Sinner who investigates as a pure townie. It wouldn't surprise me, actually: as I said earlier, the reverend would be an excellent candidate for that kind of role.

Okay, I DO have wifi access. Seems my vote wasn't well liked, though I do think I had a point. So, do I stay logged off and keep my vote? Do I defend my vote (it makes sense, right? It's getting close to the end and sinners may not have time to pray...maybe it is a weak argument) or do I change my vote to someone else...peeker?
Anyone?

The problem with your vote is that a vote for an impure town/sinner helps the blackhearts, and everybody has to know that they're getting close to winning.

Rysto, what are you going to do about voting? Chronos has one vote....another might not be too bad.

I'm thinking of tossing a vote your way. My reasoning for it is that with two votes to go, at worst you'll tie for the lead, and then you can switch to Bear(self-preservation is a null-tell, after all). I'm worried that Chronos might switch, which would sink you.
Still, it's more than a little ridiculous that we've gone almost 4 Days without a blackheart voting for a blackheart. We're in danger of giving ourselves away.
By the way, I'm extremely suspicious that Chronos just happened to come up with this theory that no blackheart has voted for another when that's actually the case. I'm wondering if Chronos has a power that lets him know that it's a fact(if that's true, he's made a major mistake by not claiming).
Actually, now that I think about it, if Chronos is the Politician(and I'm convinced of that now), you're sunk if he decides to switch both votes to you no matter what I do. I'm going to go for the townie cred and hope Bear swings anyway. I hope that this is the right decision. Please do your best to be around at the end of the Day: if you can save yourself(or put yourself into a tie) at the last minute, do it. Don't worry if you think that will look scummy: a townie would do it too.

rysto, I don't know if i can be around at the end of the day! What then? ? I'll vote soon to bring you within one of a tie, and then you can switch, saying that you don't expect to be around for the end of the Day and you're voting for self-preservation. I'm voting for you because I think that the Town is going to lynch you soon -- either toDay or toMorrow. It will look really bad on me if I'm voting at the last second to save you toDay and then toMorrow you get lynched in a landslide. My goal is to get on your bandwagon early enough that I get town cred for it. Bussing fellow scum is an important part of the strategy for scum. With only three of us we can only afford to do it once and with it looking like you may well go down anyway, the best we can do is make sure that people one of us looks really townie because of it. Remember, we win as a team, and me getting townie cred could be what tips the balance in our favour. I'm sorry; I feel really badly for doing this but I really do feel that it's necessary for victory. Saving you toDay doesn't do us any good if it outs all three of us long-term.

Meeko:
Ask him about this. If he thinks that you're town he absolutely should not be voting for you. I'd try to talk him out of it myself but given that I just voted for you that would look very strange.

I will try to get back into the game before the end of the Day, but I might not be able to.
Rysto, you really might haves screwed this up for us. I'm not sure at this point, but I can totally see a huge surge of last minute votes for me because of your post.
I can't believe you would think that was a good move....people had votes for me for NO REASONS and you just gave them reasons to cling to.
Watch for Meeko to cite your reasons to justify his vote.
Yeesh, that really was a bad move.

Mahaloth, I could re-iterate, but I don't have to, re-read everything Rysto has said since post 52. He's right on the money. The minute you read this, you need to make a post "First, in the interest of self-preservation, Unvote/Vote Bear, Second, Meeko, you still haven't given a reason why you've voted me." Maybe go on to say how anti-town he's been playing and how everything he's done would typically be a scum tell. The ONLY reason he's still alive is because he's 95% confirmed town (NO ONE IS 100% CONFIRMED UNTIL DEAD) and if it wasn't for that claim he would have been lynched Days ago. Also, he's can't use Rysto's reasoning for voting for you. If he does, call him on it. He voted for you long before Rysto did. But don't say that, just ask him to defend his vote, and if he brings up Rysto, THEN mention this. Also, like Rysto said, be sure to also ask him why he would vote for someone he thinks is town.
Anyways, if you move you vote over to Bear, you should be safe. Town is on to you, at least All Walker is, but this should give you at least another Day.
