Suggestions for Joey and me? Should we consider voting for paul, or wait? What do you guys think?
We will have to vote for someone eventually and we don't want to look like super late voters.

Meeko could be a good choice. He's making no sense whatsoever right now, so that's a safe vote. Other than that, you could pressure a lurker.

I think I might give Pinkies and Nanook a deadline to post something worthwhile and then vote for either of them if they don't. If paul survives the Day, let's kill him tonight.

I disagree. paul's tracking ability isn't of much danger to us, and he's unlikely to do it again. His ability to remove the seed of sin from a player is an asset to us as well as the Town. His bus driver power is interesting but not an easy power to use. He could use it to protect himself, so that's another reason not to target him.

I'm for lynching Meeko, I think it would be an easy lynch once it get's started. He's basically one big non sequitur. Asks the same questions over and over and over, asking questions that seem to be fairly random etc... I was/am thinking of doing a WoW on him, but he's got 139 posts (plus several answers to each of his questions), so I'm not sure about that.

Thoughts?

I'm not sure who we should lynch, but I'm thinking it shouldn't be Paul. If we can get lucky with another power role they'll be quite concerned about what powers we might have.

Is it looking like paul is going to die during the Day? I hope so.
I still think specialed is a good NK for Night Two.

Okay, nevermind on calling out Meeko, Ed 'confirmed' him as town which means if we lead a lynch against him, we'd get in trouble. I really wish I had said something about Meeko cluttering up the thread before Ed made that comment. Oh well, I suppose it's a good idea at this point to keep him engaged. The more he talks about the rules, the less time people spend scum hunting.

I also suspect Meeko does not have a power role, as he seemed rather clueless about them early in the game. Unless he gets even crazier, he's a low priority to kill in my book.
Seriously, though, I really want paul to die during the day.
His risky power is enough reason to vote for him.

Masons are a small group of Townies. They usually don't have any powers other than knowing who the other Masons are. It's an important role because Masons are confirmed Town -- everybody knows that they aren't lying(well, they could be lying, but once one of them dies it will be revealed that that player was Town, so they all must be Town).

What protective powers do we know the town has? I guess Telcontar protected people, but have we seen that they have another?
I am worried we'll kill someone tonight and find out they were protected.

I honestly doubt that there are any more protective roles than the Aegis and paul. Three would be a lot of protective roles.

Even if there aren't any more protective powers, there may very well be a watcher, and that person would probably be watching Paul toNight, so I'm thinking we should stay away from Paul.
Is it too early in the game to take out a mason/busybody...probably. I'm thinking toNight we just go after another random-ish person.
Oh, BTW Mahaloth, if for some reason you get close to being lynched at any point in this game, my plan I'm wondering if I should claim as investigator and say that's you're pure. I could even go on to list my other results that I would have by then (including a pure Rysto). The reason I say this is because if you were to get lynched, I beleive you would come up as a Pure Blackheart (but I would want to double check that with Pede) which would confirm me as investigator (and hopefully town). Any thoughts on that? We can discuss it more if you were to start getting some votes, I just wanted to put it out there.

1. I think I should kill paul if he survives Day Two.
2. I agree with the investigator claim. I'll let you know if I get infected with Sin, then you can know that before the investigation claim.

A townie investigator would likely get a Blackheart result on any of us. Besides, there's only three of us. Should the Town decide to test your claim by lynching mahaloth, you'd be signing your own death warrant.

Mahaloth should actually come up as a PURE scum, so I guess there would be some WiFoM there, am I scum protecting scum or am I town protecting another player who's investigation came back as "pure"? Also, I could tell them what other player's I've investigated and what their results came back as (which could be interesting if I come back with anyone that's unpure). I don't know, just a thought that needs to be discussed.

Is it a crazy idea to protect me tonight? I mean, if one of us does the kill and one of us can protect the "killer", how is this bad? We certainly don't want to lose a NK.

I'm leaning towards protecting the mason we don't kill(probably Meeko). A real townie doctor would protect a mason in this situation(or paul, but as I don't believe his claim, I'm hardly going to protect him, am I?). I might also drop him a hint that I'm the person who protected him, in the hope that he doesn't say anything right away, but might confirm me as Town later on.

Something along the lines of "Hey Ed/Meeko, you must be feeling slightly better having made it through the night etc etc " If they don't get it now, you can mention it again if you have to claim"
I assume you got the same PM as Dirx, but if you didn't, my understanding is that whomever you protect will get a PM the next Day saying that they have a "slightly healed feeling."

You guys think paul is going to did during the day? Killing him is a priority to me and I think it should be for us.
Joey, I don't know how to get you to vote for paul without being too obvious, but if you can think of a way, we need it. Meeko has already pointed out that paul is probably not beneficial to the Blackhearts, so it might rather obvious if we all vote for him(3 out of 4 votes would be us).
Still, he needs to go....and wants to go, I think.

I'm not sure why you're so worried about Paul? He's not going to use his tracker power again. His ability to purify players helps us and he hasn't seemed to have figured out how to use his bus driver power as a protective power.

I wanted to vote for Meeko, I was planning to make a big ol' WoW out of the trainwreck that is his posts, but with him confirmed(ish) mason, I can't do that either.
